Prof. Nguyen Duc Nghia is a pioneering scientist who laid the solid foundation for Nano Chemistry in Vietnam, with knowledge accumulated at the world's leading scientific powers:
- PhD in Polymer Chemistry — Berlin Academy of Sciences (Germany).
- BSc in Polymer Chemistry — Kim Il Sung National University.
- In-depth research (1995–2014) at renowned institutes and universities in Korea (KIST, Seoul National University), France (CNRS), Japan (Kyoto Institute of Technology), Germany (Leibniz Institute) and Australia (University of Sydney).
Key national positions
- Former Vice Director, Institute of Chemistry — Vietnam Academy of Science & Technology.
- Former Head of the Nano Chemistry Department — University of Engineering and Technology, VNU Hanoi.
- Currently Director of the Nano Medicine & Pharmacy Institute.
The Nano revolutions
Known as "Professor Nano", he has spent nearly 30 years turning scientific work into reality:
- Author of nearly 100 scientific works and numerous exclusive patents.
- Pioneer of 3 generations of Nano herbal technology in Vietnam: Gen 1 — Reverse Micelle (2016); Gen 2 — Nano Sol-Gel (2017); Gen 3 — Nano Solid-Lipid (2020).
- Author of landmark monographs: "Nano Chemistry – Platform Technology and Source Materials", "Functional Polymers and Nano-structured Hybrid Materials".
Contribution to the community
Beyond research, he leads the fight against "fake Nano", helping consumers and the market correctly define real Nano products — real efficacy: high effectiveness, safety and clear clinical basis.
